In recent years Löfbergs have strengthened their position in the market, with an emphasis on social responsibility and working for a better environment. Löfbergs is one of Europe's largest importers of organic and fair trade coffee, as well as being Sweden's major supplier of coffee to restaurants, cafés and companies.
Löfbergs sponsors the ice hockey team Färjestad BK as well as Löfbergs Arena. For many years, Färjestad's team colours were the same purple and yellow as Löfbergs's colours, but that was changed for the 2006–07 season.{{cite news |url=http://www.expressen.se/nyheter/svart-och-vitt---farjestads-farger-nasta-sasong/ |title=Svart och vitt - Färjestads färger nästa säsong |newspaper=Expressen |agency=Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå |language=Swedish |date=15 May 2006 |accessdate=17 June 2014}} In August 2012, the roastery dropped {{Lang|sv|Lila}} ({{Gloss|purple}}) from its brand to become Löfbergs.{{cite news |url=http://www.dagensmedia.se/nyheter/pr/article3523848.ece |title=Löfbergs Lila blir Löfbergs |last=Hanspers |first=Elin |newspaper=Dagens Media |language=Swedish |date=22 August 2012 |accessdate=17 June 2014}}
Löfbergs operates a coffee bar called {{Lang|sv|Löfbergs Rosteri och Kaffebar|italic=no}} in their hometown of Karlstad. The company previously operated a café on Kungsgatan in central Stockholm, which opened in 2015; however, the location closed in January 2022.{{Cite web |date=2025-01-09 |title=Löfbergs kafé stänger på Kungsgatan {{!}} Fastighetsvärlden |url=https://archive.today/20250109104625/https://www.fastighetsvarlden.se/notiser/lofbergs-kafe-stanger-pa-kungsgatan/ |access-date=2025-01-09 |website=archive.is}}
