History
LITEXPO organizes over twenty international exhibitions annually, including Resta (construction fair) and Vilnius Book Fair. Some exhibitions and associated events are organized with partners.
For example, multiple events and conferences during Balttechnika, the largest technology and engineering exhibition in the Baltic States, are organized by Linpra.{{cite web | title=VILNIUS TECH dalyvauja technologijų, inovacijų ir inžinerinių sprendimų parodoje „Balttechnika 2022” | website=Vilnius Tech | date=2022-10-20 | url=https://vilniustech.lt/246468?nid=346221 | language=lt | access-date=2024-10-12| quote = Spalio 19–21 dienomis Lietuvos parodų ir kongresų centre LITEXPO vyksta didžiausia Baltijos šalyse specializuota technologijų, inovacijų ir inžinerinių sprendimų paroda „Balttechnika 2022“, kurioje dalyvauja ir Vilniaus Gedimino technikos universitetas (Vilnius Tech). |archive-url=https://archive.today/20241012073133/https://vilniustech.lt/246468?nid=346221#selection-321.0-320.2 | archive-date= 2024-10-12}}{{cite web | title=Balttechnika 2024 | website=Litexpo | date=2024-08-26 | url=https://www.litexpo.lt/renginiai/balttechnika-2024/ | language=lt | access-date=2024-10-12 | quote = Konferenciją organizuoja Lietuvos inžinerijos ir technologijų pramonės asociacija Linpra. |archive-url=https://archive.today/20241012072730/https://www.litexpo.lt/renginiai/balttechnika-2024/ | archive-date= 2024-10-12}} Another example is "International Contemporary Art Fair ArtVilnius". The ArtVilnius’24, held at Litexpo in Vilnius, featured various art performances, including Date with an Octopus — an interdisciplinary audiovisual installation by Gabija Grušaitė that expanded the world of her novel Fungal Dream (Grybo sapnas). In this piece, visitors were invited to lie down and explore the blurred boundary between the inner self and the external world through the symbolism of the Pacific octopus.
It also organizes conferences and other special events. In December 2011, LITEXPO hosted Ministerial Council meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe. During the COVID-19 pandemic, LITEXPO was a major vaccination centre used for the mass vaccination.{{cite web|title=Vilnius to use Litexpo exhibition centre for mass vaccination|url=https://www.lrt.lt/en/news-in-english/19/1377604/vilnius-to-use-litexpo-exhibition-centre-for-mass-vaccination|date=31 March 2021|access-date=31 May 2023|website=LRT}} In July 2023, it hosted the NATO 2023 Vilnius summit.{{cite web |title=NATO leaders gather for summit in Vilnius |url=https://www.lrt.lt/en/news-in-english/19/2030886/nato-leaders-gather-for-summit-in-vilnius |website=Lithuanian National Radio and Television |access-date=12 July 2023 |date=10 July 2023}}
