La Paz, officially the Municipality of La Paz ({{langx|ilo|Ili ti La Paz}}; {{langx|tl|Bayan ng La Paz}}), is a municipality in the province of Abra, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 16,493 people.{{PH census|current}}
Geography
According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the municipality has a land area of {{convert|51.41|km2}}{{PSGC detail|area}} constituting {{percentage|51.41|4,165.25|2|pad=yes}} of the {{convert|4,165.25|km2|2|adj=mid|-}} total area of Abra. La Paz is located at {{coord|format=dms}}.
La Paz is situated {{convert|13.37|km}} from the provincial capital Bangued, and {{convert|419.22|km}} from the country's capital city of Manila.

La Paz, belonging to the lone congressional district of the province of Abra, is governed by a mayor designated as its local chief executive and by a municipal council as its legislative body in accordance with the Local Government Code. The mayor, vice mayor, and the councilors are elected directly by the people through an election which is being held every three years.
