Most of the lake is located in Pontiac Regional County Municipality, Quebec, and in Renfrew County, Ontario, but the easternmost part (near the dam) lies in Ottawa, Ontario and in Les Collines-de-l'Outaouais Regional County Municipality, Quebec.
