Lama Khater ({{langx|ar|لمى خاطر}}, born 18 April 1976) is a Palestinian journalist and writer who comments on human rights and the Middle East. She has written for many newspapers and websites such as Felestin.

Arrest and detainment

Khater was again detained on October 26, 2023, after the IDF stormed her home in the middle of the night. Her lawyer informed the Committee to Protect Journalists that she had been strip searched and threatened with sexual violence, harm to her children, and deportation to Gaza.
