Lanike or Lanice pronounced (Lan iss) (Greek: {{lang|grc|Λανίκη}}), also called Hellanike or Alacrinis, daughter of Dropidas, who was son of Critias, was the sister of Cleitus the Black, and the nurse of Alexander the Great.{{Cite book|last=Rockefeller|first=J.
