Lara Schenk (born 20 January 2000) is a German footballer who plays for Montreal Roses FC in the Northern Super League.
Early life
Schenk began playing soccer at age five, joining a boys team.{{cite web|url=https://www.ragiwrites.com/degendersports/lara-schenk|title=Lara Schenk: Parents felt I was stealing a spot as a girl on the boys team|work=Ragi Writes|first=Ragi|last=Gupta}} rom 2014 to 2016, she played youth football with VfL Wolfsburg, before joining the JFV Calenberger Land U17 boys team in 2016-17 and the TSV Pattensen U17 boys team in 2017-18.
College career

Club career
In 2020, with due to the cancellation of the women's college season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Schenk began training with Frauen-Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg to prepare for the 2020 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, which was ultimately cancelled.{{cite web|url=https://www.thecrimson.com/article/2021/3/13/Schenk-VfL-Wolfsburg/|title=Midfielder Lara Schenk Finds Ways to Train Among the Best Despite Pandemic|date=March 13, 2021|first=Zing|last=Gee|work=The Harvard Crimson}} She could only train with the first team, due to NCAA rules preventing student-athletes from playing professionally, but was able to play with the second team in the 2.
