Lasaeola is a genus of comb-footed spiders that was first described by Eugène Louis Simon in 1881.{{cite book| last=Simon| first=E.| year=1881| title=Les arachnides de France. Tome cinquième, première partie| publisher=Roret, Paris| pages=1–180| author-link=Eugène Simon}} The type species was described under the name Pachydactylus pronus,{{cite journal| last=Menge| first=A.| year=1868| title=Preussische Spinnen. II. Abtheilung| journal=Schriften der Naturforschenden Gesellschaft in Danzig | page=177| volume=2| author-link=Anton Menge}} but was renamed Lasaeola prona when it was discovered that the name "Pachydactylus" was preoccupied. Both this genus and Deliana were removed from the synonymy of Dipoena in 1988,{{cite book| last=Wunderlich| first=J.| year=1988| title=Die fossilen Spinnen im Dominikanischen Bernstein| page=148}} but many of these species require more study before their placement is certain.
