Laxárdalur

Laxárdalur ({{IPA|is|ˈlaksˌaurˌtaːlʏr̥}}) is a valley in Dalasýsla in northwestern Iceland,{{cite book |last1=Magnússon |first1=Sigurður Gylfi |title=Wasteland with Words: A Social History of Iceland |publisher=Reaktion Books |year=2010| page=62 |language=en}} formed by the {{interlanguage link|Laxá (Dalasýslu)|is|lt=River Laxá}}. It was the home of the {{interlanguage link|Laxdælir|is|lt=Laxdælir}}, a group of Icelanders whose doings are described in the Laxdæla saga.
