Lemon duck or ningmeng ya ({{zh|c=柠檬鸭|p=níngméng yā}}) is a specialty dish of the Wuming district, Nanning, Guangxi. The sour preserved lemon peel and other sour preserved ingredients used are a common feature of the cooking of the Zhuang minority who live in Guangxi. Lemon is otherwise not commonly used in Chinese cuisine. The flavor is described as 'hot and sour' ({{zh|c=酸辣|p=suānlà}}).{{cite book|title=南寧|publisher=旺旺中時文化傳媒(北京)有限公司|page=117|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=ZQrHCgAAQBAJ&pg=PA117|language=zh-TW|access-date=2017-02-23|archive-date=2024-05-02|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20240502031156/https://books.google.com/books?id=ZQrHCgAAQBAJ&pg=PA117#v=onepage&q&f=false|url-status=live}}
