Leonard Poulter Leary {{post-nominals|country=NZL|CMG|MC|QC}} (24 March 1891 – 11 April 1990) was a New Zealand lawyer and writer. He was born in Palmerston North, New Zealand, on 24 March 1891.{{DNZB|last=Bassett|first= Judith|id=5l6|title=Leonard Poulter Leary|accessdate=23 April 2017}}
In the 1973 New Year Honours, Leary was appointed a Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George, for services to the law.{{London Gazette |issue=45861 |date=1 January 1973 |pages=33–36 |supp=2}}
