Leptoporus is a genus of polypore fungi. The type species, Leptoporus mollis (or the soft bracket),{{cite book |last1=Jarvis |first1=Peter J. |title=The Pelagic Dictionary of Natural History of the British Isles |date=2020 |publisher=Pelagic |location=Exeter |isbn=9781784271947}} is widespread throughout north temperate areas. The generic name is derived from the Ancient Greek words {{lang|grc|λεπτός}} ("thin") and {{lang|grc|πόρος}} ("pore").
Although traditionally classified in the family Polyporaceae, recent molecular phylogenetic analysis supports the placement of Leptoporus in the Irpicaceae.
