Lewis Evan Meredith (1900 - 1968Obituary- Rt Rev L. E. Educated at Lancing College and Trinity College, Cambridge,Who was Who 1897-1990 London, A & C Black, 1991 {{ISBN|0-7136-3457-X}} he was ordained in 1923 and began his career with a curacy at Oswestry. In retirement he continued to serve the church as an Assistant Bishop within the Diocese of Gloucester.
