A lichenoid eruption is a skin disease characterized by damage and infiltration between the epidermis and dermis.{{MeshName|Lichenoid+eruptions}}
Examples include lichen planus, lichen sclerosus and lichen nitidus. The term "lichenoid" derives from a resemblance to a lichen.
