Life and career
Borowczyk was married to film director Walerian Borowczyk{{cite news |last=Mikurda|first=Kuba|date=July 2013|title=Aktorskie portrety: Ligia Borowczyk-Branice|trans-title= |url=https://www.dwutygodnik.com/artykul/4633-aktorskie-portretyligia-borowczyk-branice.html|language=Polish|work=Dwutygodnik|location= |access-date=12 September 2022}} and held roles in some of his earlier films, including Goto, Island of Love and {{ill|Blanche (1971 film)|fr|Blanche (film, 1971)|lt=Blanche}}. She made an appearance in the Chris Marker film La Jetée.
