Limanda is a genus of righteye flounders native to the northern Atlantic and Pacific oceans.
A 2018 cladistic morphological and genetic analysis found that the genus is not monophyletic, and has proposed L. ferruginea, L. proboscidea and L. punctatissima be placed in the genus Myzopsetta.{{cite journal |last1=Vinnikov |first1=Kirill A. |last2=Thomson |first2=Robert C. |last3=Munroe |first3=Thomas A. |title=Revised classification of the righteye flounders (Teleostei: Pleuronectidae) based on multilocus phylogeny with complete taxon sampling |journal=Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution |date=2018 |volume=125 |pages=147–162 |doi=10.1016/j.ympev.2018.03.014|pmid=29535031 |doi-access=free }}
