Limpy Creek is a tributary of the North Umpqua River in Douglas County, in the U.S. state of Oregon.
Limpy Creek was named for a local Native American who walked with a limp.{{cite book|last=Bright|first=William|title=Native American Placenames of the United States|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=5XfxzCm1qa4C&pg=PA252|year=2004|publisher=University of Oklahoma Press|isbn=978-0-8061-3598-4|page=252}} Oregon Geographic Names says that Limpy Creek, Limpy Prairie, and other natural features in the area are all named for the same man, who lived along the Little River,{{cite book | last = McArthur | first = Lewis A. |author2=McArthur, Lewis L. | title = Oregon Geographic Names|edition=7th| publisher = Oregon Historical Society Press | year = 2003 |origyear=1928| location = Portland, Oregon | page = 578 | isbn = 0-87595-277-1}} another tributary of the North Umpqua River.
