Early life
Lin was born in Shenyang, Liaoning, China. He enrolled in the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2007. Career

In 2015, Lin was cast in Chinese historical drama God of War, Zhao Yun, based on the Chinese novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
