Smith was born on 10 March 1995 in Hillingdon, Greater London. Domestic career

In October 2018, Smith was named in the England squad for their upcoming 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 campaign. She made her debut in England's second game of the tournament, against Bangladesh, and took 1/17 from four overs, having Sanjida Islam caught to claim her maiden international wicket.
