Lionel Washington (born October 21, 1960) is an American former college football coach and player. He played as a cornerback for 15 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Washington played college football for Tulane.

Washington was a nickelbacks/cornerbacks coach for the Green Bay Packers from 1999 to 2008. Washington is the father of Deron Washington, a professional basketball player who was selected in the second round of the 2008 NBA draft.
