Lisa A. Goodman is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association, Division of Counseling Psychology.
Education

Career
Her experience working with women living in homeless shelters led Goodman to focus her doctoral research on the relationship between homelessness and domestic violence.{{Cite journal|last=Goodman|first=Lisa A.|date=1991|title=The prevalence of abuse among homeless and housed poor mothers: A comparison study.|journal=American Journal of Orthopsychiatry|volume=61|issue=4|pages=489–500|doi=10.1037/h0079287|pmid=1746625|issn=1939-0025}} After graduating, Goodman worked as a James Marshall Public Policy Research Fellow for the American Psychological Association. She was a member of the faculty of the University of Maryland (1994–1999) prior to returning to Boston College in 1999.
