List of Grade I historic buildings in Hong Kong
{{short description|List of buildings of very high historical significance in Hong Kong}}
Grade I historic buildings in Hong Kong are those selected as those "outstanding merits of which every effort should be made to preserve if possible".[http://www.amo.gov.hk/en/built3.php Definition of the Gradings of Historical Buildings]
These buildings may be protected under the Antiquities and Monuments Ordinance; after consulting the Antiquities Advisory Board, with the approval of the Chief Executive and the publication of the notice in government gazette, the Antiquities Authority may legally declare the Graded historic buildings to be protected as Declared Monuments.[http://www.amo.gov.hk/en/built2.php Protection of the Built Heritage in Hong Kong] Five Grade I historic buildings have been demolished in the last two decades.[http://hk.news.yahoo.com/070822/12/2e6cg.html 前規劃署長:皇后不算珍貴重置合理 20年拆5幢一級建築 保育向來「有贏有輸」(In Chinese)]
