The King of Uvea (titled as Lavelua{{cite web |url=http://www.pireport.org/articles/2008/07/28/new-king-wallis-crowned |title=NEW KING OF WALLIS CROWNED |publisher=Pacific Islands Report |date=28 July 2008 |access-date=9 August 2021}}) is the ruler of the polity of Uvea, the chiefdom (Royaume coutumier, {{Literal translation|customary kingdom}}) located on Wallis Island. Uvea encompasses the whole island and the surrounding islets.

Wallis Island is part of the French overseas collectivity of Wallis and Futuna{{efn|Officially the Territory of the Wallis and Futuna Islands.{{cite French law|number or usual name=no 61-814|date in French=29 juillet 1961 |full name=conférant aux îles Wallis-et-Futuna le statut de territoire d'outre-mer |language=French |URL=http://www.legifrance.gouv.fr/affichTexte.do?cidTexte=JORFTEXT000000684031&categorieLien=cid}}.}}, in Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean.
