Background
After receiving a Grammy nomination for the previous year's release The Stage, the band announced in Fall 2017 that they would be holding "intimate conversation about their career and new music" followed by an unplugged set in the Grammy Museum at the Clive Davis Theater in Los Angeles, taking place on October 19, 2017.{{Cite news|url=https://www.altpress.com/news/avenged_sevenfold_acoustic_show_grammy_museum/|title=Avenged Sevenfold announce intimate show with career reflection - Alternative Press|date=September 27, 2017|work=Alternative Press|access-date=September 19, 2018|language=en-US}}{{Cite news|url=https://www.loudersound.com/news/avenged-sevenfold-release-live-at-the-grammy-museum-acoustic-album|title=Avenged Sevenfold release Live At The Grammy Museum acoustic album|work=Metal Hammer Magazine|access-date=September 19, 2018|language=en}}{{Cite news|url=https://www.rocksound.tv/news/read/avenged-sevenfold-have-announced-an-intimate-acoustic-show|title=Avenged Sevenfold Have Announced An Intimate Acoustic Show - News - Rock Sound Magazine|work=Rock Sound Magazine|access-date=September 19, 2018|language=en-GB}}
