Liz Redfern, Baroness Redfern

Elizabeth Marie "Liz" Redfern, Baroness Redfern (born 25 September 1947)[https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/officers/36wpkWoCOS2o3r_TqvpVMFUCxaA/appointments Companies House] is a British Conservative member of the House of Lords.

Early life

She was born in Winterton as Elizabeth Waud. After failing the 11+, she attended secondary modern school in Winterton, Lincolnshire, which became Winterton Comprehensive School in 1968, then North Lindsey Technical College in Scunthorpe, which became North Lindsey College. After three years of intense training she passed her Movement to Music examination and gained a City & Guilds in wig thatching.

Career

She became a Conservative councillor on North Lincolnshire Council, at its creation in 1996. She represented the Axholme Central ward until May 2019.[https://www.northlincs.gov.uk/your-council/have-your-say/electoral-wards/axholme-central-ward/ Axholme Central]
