Lloyd Williams (born 30 November 1989) is a Wales international rugby union player. A scrum-half, he plays club rugby for the Cardiff Rugby. Club career

Williams was named man of the match in Cardiff's record 35–0 victory over the Sharks in Durban.

International career

In June 2011 he was called into the Wales 45-man training squad for the 2011 Rugby World Cup[http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/welsh/13784568.stm Wales 2011 rugby world cup training squad] following the suspension of Mike Phillips. He made his full international debut versus Argentina on 20 August 2011 as a second-half replacement.

Williams was selected in the final squad for the World Cup, and scored two tries in the pool stages, as Wales ultimately finished fourth in the tournament.

Personal life

Lloyd Williams' father is former Wales international scrum-half Brynmor Williams. His younger brother Tom Williams is also a professional rugby union player.
