The Lord Chamberlain of Denmark ({{langx|da|Overkammerherre}}) is the highest office of the Royal Household of Denmark, and the most distinguished of the Chamberlains of the Royal Household.{{Cite web|title=overkammerherre — ODS|url=https://ordnet.dk/ods/ordbog?query=overkammerherre|access-date=2020-06-06|website=ordnet.dk}} The title corresponds to the British title Lord Chamberlain of the Household.

The title gives precedence in the 1st Class No. 8 in the Danish order precedence, and the bearer is thus entitled to the style "His/Her Excellency".{{Cite web|date=2011-07-16|title=Rangfølgen|url=https://www.borger.dk/Emner/samfund-og-rettigheder/fakta-om-danmark/det-danske-kongehus/Sider/rangfoelgen.aspx|access-date=2020-06-06|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110716132330/https://www.borger.dk/Emner/samfund-og-rettigheder/fakta-om-danmark/det-danske-kongehus/Sider/rangfoelgen.aspx|archive-date=16 July 2011}} The title still exists by Royal Regulation, but it is not in current use: Queen Margrethe preferred to appoint Chamberlains, of which there were 115 in Denmark as of 2015.{{Cite web|date=2015-11-24|title=Kammerherrer|url=http://kongehuset.dk/node/306|access-date=2020-06-06|website=Kongehuset|language=da}} The Historic role of the Lord Chamberlain is now allocated to the Court Marshal of Denmark ({{langx|da|Hofmarskal}}).
