Louis Hellman {{postnominals|country=GBR|MBE}} (born 1936) is a British architect and cartoonist. He is particularly known for his cartoons from the world of architecture{{cite web|url=https://www.buildingsandcities.org/insights/research-pathways/50-years-a-cartoonist.html |title=50 years a cartoonist|website=Buildings and Cities|accessdate=8 October 2024}} and his Archi-têtes drawings, in which he caricatured architects by drawing them in the style of their buildings.{{cite web|url=https://www.ribapix.com/louis-hellman-archi-têtes |title=Louis Hellman: Archi-têtes|website=RIBApix|accessdate=8 October 2024}} His drawings and illustrations have been published in numerous newspapers and magazines since 1967.

Life

Hellman studied architecture at the "Bartlett School of Architecture" of University College London and at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris.{{cite web|url=https://www.architectsjournal.co.uk/practice/culture/celebrating-50-years-of-aj-cartoonist-hellman
