Career

Born in Berlin, Oppie was a member of Hertha BSC's youth system from 2009 to 2017. Oppie's youth contract with Hannover 96 was expiring in June 2023, and the club wished to offer him a professional deal, but he instead opted to join Arminia Bielefeld, newly relegated to the 3. Liga. Sporting director Michael Mutzel highlighted his versatility in defensive positions.
