"Love This Life" is a song by the American hip hop recording artist T.I., released on April 3, 2012, as the intended first single from his eighth studio album, Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head (2012). The song was produced by production team 1500 or Nothin',{{cite web|date=April 3, 2012 |title =New Song: T.I., 'Love This Life' |first=Jenna Hally |last=Rubenstein|publisher=MTV| url =http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2012/04/03/ti-love-this-life/| archive-url =https://web.archive.org/web/20120405064611/http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2012/04/03/ti-love-this-life/| url-status =dead| archive-date =April 5, 2012|accessdate =April 9, 2012}} and was eventually included on the album as an iTunes bonus track. Certain critics noted its thematic similarity to his previous 2008 single, "Whatever You Like", although many deemed it inferior, and some characterized it as misogynistic.{{Cite web|url= https://www.spin.com/2012/04/ti-restores-our-faith-giddy-love-life/|title=T.I. Composition

The hip hop song's hook contains 'layered' singing vocals by T.I., very similar to "That's All She Wrote", a previous single released by T.I. featuring fellow rapper Eminem, also known for often using layered singing vocals.{{cite magazine| last=Greenwald| first=David| url=http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/the-juice/497700/listen-tis-first-trouble-man-single-love-this-life| title=Listen: T.I.'s First 'Trouble Man' Single, 'Love This Life' | magazine=Billboard |publisher=Nielsen Company| date=April 2, 2012| accessdate = April 9, 2012}}{{cite web| last=Gates| first=Sara| url=http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/03/ti-single-love-this-life_n_1400735.html?ref=entertainment| title=T.I. Releases 'Love This Life' And Loves His Wife | work=The Huffington Post| date=April 3, 2012| accessdate = April 9, 2012}} T.I. told XXL that the song speaks to women, "but from a man’s perspective". He described the song's concept saying, "People who find themselves in a situation where the woman might say she wants to part ways with the man, but the man [is] like, 'Let’s be sensible about this. You gonna leave all this? And go where?'"{{cite web|date=2012-03-26|title =T.I. to Drop New Single Next Month |first=Carl|last=Chery|work=XXL |url=http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2012/03/t-i-to-drop-new-single-next-month/|accessdate =April 9, 2012}} While T.I. incorporates references to cars, shoes and jewelry, he also expresses the desire to have an understanding relationship.

Critical reception

Markman compared T.I.'s delivery to that on "Whatever You Like", only "much darker".{{cite web|date=April 3, 2012 |title =T.I.
