The Luapula cisticola (Cisticola luapula) is a species of bird in the family Cisticolidae.
Taxonomy
The Luapula cisticola is monotypic.{{cite web|last1=Gill|first1=Frank|last2=Donsker|first2=David|last3=Rasmussen|first3=Pamela|title=Grassbirds, Donacobius, Malagasy warblers, cisticolas, allies|url=https://www.worldbirdnames.org/new/bow/grassbirds/|work=IOC World Bird List|publisher=International Ornithological Congress|access-date=26 November 2020}} This taxon was split from the winding cisticola by the IOC and HBW, as were the rufous-winged cisticola, coastal cisticola and Ethiopian cisticola. Distribution and habitat

Its natural habitats are tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland and swamps.
