Lunca Banului is a commune in Vaslui County, Western Moldavia, Romania. It is composed of seven villages: Broscoșești, Condrea, Focșa, Lunca Banului, Lunca Veche, Oțetoaia, and Răducani.

The commune is located in the eastern part of Vaslui County, about {{cvt|60|km}} southeast of the county seat, Vaslui, on the Moldova–Romania border. It lies on the right bank of the Prut River, which marks the border; the Pruteț, a right tributary of the Prut, flows through Lunca Banului, Oțetoaia, and Lunca Veche villages.
