It is {{convert|4|km|mi}} south-west of Coleraine, on the road to Limavady. In the 2011 Census it had a population of 614 people. History
Following fast growth in the 1950s and 1960s the village had a peak population of over 800 in the 1970s, but this has shrunk to a [http://www.citypopulation.de/php/uk-northernireland.php?cityid=N11000180 2011 population] of 614.
