Education
He has earned B.Sc. degree in Maths from Bangur College in Pali, Rajasthan under University of Rajasthan in 1974.
Career
In the 1970s, he began his career with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as a pracharak. In the mid-1980s, he joined the BJP. He moved to the state unit of the BJP after holding a number of positions in the Pali district unit. He defeated Indian National Congress leader Bina Kak both times for the Sumerpur Assembly seat.
