Beer first gained substantial media coverage when Justin Bieber posted a link to one of her covers she posted on YouTube. In 2013, she released her debut single "Melodies". In 2018, she released her debut extended play (EP), As She Pleases, which produced the singles "Dead" and "Home with You".
Beer signed with Epic Records in 2019. She released her debut studio album, Life Support, in 2021. Madison Elle Beer was born in Jericho, New York, to an Ashkenazi Jewish family on March 5, 1999.
