Malcolm in the Middle is an upcoming American television sitcom miniseries created by Linwood Boomer for the streaming service Disney+. It is a revival of Malcolm in the Middle (2000-2006), produced by Satin City Productions, Regency Television, and Fox Television Studios, and continues the story from the earlier series. Filming began in April 2025.
Malcolm in the Middle is scheduled to debut on Disney+.
Cast
- Jane Kaczmarek as Lois: The family's wildly hot-headed and stubborn mother who is also an intelligent and decisive woman.
- Bryan Cranston as Hal: Lois' husband and father to Francis, Reese, Malcolm, Dewey and Jamie. Hal is a well-meaning, loving, but inept and completely immature father, and completely dependent on Lois, whom he loves absolutely.
- Christopher Masterson as Francis: Hal and Lois' oldest son born October 1984.
- Justin Berfield as Reese: Hal and Lois' second son born April 1987.
- Caleb Ellsworth-Clark as Dewey: Hal and Lois' fourth son born September 1994. He was the youngest child until the birth of Jamie. Erik Per Sullivan portrayed Dewey in the original series.
- Anthony Timpano as Jamie: Hal and Lois' fifth and youngest son.
- Keeley Karsten as Leah: Malcom's daughter.

In December 2024, it was announced that a four-episode revival was in the works for Disney+ with Muniz, Cranston and Kaczmarek set to reprise their roles.
