Maria Henson (born June 17, 1960) is an American journalist and editor, who has worked for several newspapers. Henson graduated from Wake Forest University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in English, and was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard University in 1993–94, and a Jefferson Fellow at the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii in 2007.{{cite web|title=Maria Henson|url=http://college.wfu.edu/english/about-us/faculty/maria-henson/|work=Wake Forest Department of English|publisher=Wake Forest University|accessdate=22 May 2016}}
