Marie Gil

Marie Gil is a French writer and Professor of French Literature in Paris.

She studied at HEC Paris, Ecole Normale Supérieure and Paris-Sorbonne University, was a Fellow of the Fondation Thiers{{cite web|url=http://www.fondation-thiers.org/boursiers.php|title=Boursiers|work=fondation-thiers.org|access-date=2015-11-08|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20160403125841/http://fondation-thiers.org/boursiers.php|archive-date=2016-04-03|url-status=usurped}} and taught French Literature at Paris-Sorbonne University and at the University of Franche-Comté, and is currently vice-president of the Collège international de philosophie.{{cite web|url=http://www.ciph.org/spip.php?page=quisommesnousdetail&id_personne=1506|title=Marie GIL - CIPh Paris|work=ciph.org}} She is also director of the Roland Barthes research group at the Ecole Normale Supérieure.{{cite web|url=http://www.item.ens.fr/index.php?id=578748|title=Marie Gil|work=ens.fr}}
