Mark Treyger (born April 15, 1982) is an American politician who served in the New York City Council for the 47th district from 2014 to 2021. He is a Democrat. Early life and education

Treyger was born in Brooklyn, New York. One of two children, he was the first in his family to be born in the United States. Teaching career

New York City Council

In 2013, Councilman Domenic Recchia was term-limited and unable to run again.
