Markvelde is a hamlet in the eastern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality Hof van Twente, Overijssel. Until 2001, Markvelde was in the former municipality of Diepenheim. Markvelde is a statistical entity, but the postal authorities have placed it under Diepenheim.{{cite web|url=https://postcodebijadres.nl/7478 |title=Postcode 7478 in Diepenheim |website=Postcode bij adres |access-date=16 March 2022 |language=nl}} It was first mentioned in 1225 as Marcvelthe, and means "field near communal ground".{{cite web|url=https://etymologiebank.nl/trefwoord/markvelde |title=Markvelde |website=Etymologiebank.nl |access-date=16 March 2022 |language=nl}}

In 1840, it was home to 190 people.

Markvelde includes a community center, and a number of hog and cattle farms. The school closed in 2018.
