Martin Bojowald

Martin Bojowald (born 18 February 1973 in Jülich) is a German physicist who now works on the faculty of the Penn State Physics Department,{{cite web |title = PennState| url=http://www.phys.psu.edu | accessdate=2011-02-04}} where he is a member of the Institute for Gravitation and the Cosmos.{{cite web|title =PennState Gravitation & the Cosmos | url=http://www.gravity.psu.edu/ | accessdate=2011-02-04}} Prior to joining Penn State he spent several years at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics{{cite web |title = AEI |url = http://www.aei.mpg.de/english/contemporaryIssues/home/index.html |accessdate = 2011-02-04 |url-status = dead |archiveurl = https://web.archive.org/web/20100617163527/http://www.aei.mpg.de/english/contemporaryIssues/home/index.html |archivedate = 2010-06-17 }} in Potsdam, Germany. He works on loop quantum gravity and physical cosmology and is credited with establishing the sub-field of loop quantum cosmology.
