Life and career

Cannizzaro's parents, both from the Sicilian town of Modica, moved to Cologne, where he was born, to work in the gastronomy industry. In an interview, he said that italian footballer Roberto Baggio is his idol.{{Cite web |last=Ludwigs |first=Kurt |date=2019-03-22 |title=Lebenswege beim 1. Despite his hopes, he was never called up to the Italian U18 team. This would have extended his career to international football.
