Matt Everard (born 9 January 1991) is a rugby union coach and former professional player. He is currently Defence Coach{{Cite web |title=Leicester Tigers 23/24 Coaching Team |url=https://www.leicestertigers.com/news/club-announcement-230529-coachingteam |access-date=2023-06-13 |website=Leicester Tigers |language=en}} at Leicester Tigers for the 2023/24 season. He previously worked in a coaching role at Wasps RFC, after retiring from playing for Nottingham in 2017 where he was captain,{{Cite web|url=http://www.nottinghampost.com/nottingham-rugby-announce-matt-everard-as-new-captain/story-29673380-detail/story.html|title=Nottingham Rugby name new captain|date=31 August 2016|access-date=8 September 2016}} and played in the back row. Previous career

During his playing career, Everard had a lengthy career with spells at Nottingham, Leicester Tigers and Wasps{{Cite news|url=https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/16071662|title=Matt Everard signs new two-year deal with Wasps|work=BBC Sport |access-date=30 August 2016}} where he was signed after impressing at England under 20 level.

Education
