Maxwell is an unincorporated community in Center Township, Hancock County, Indiana.

History

Maxwell was laid out and platted in 1881,{{cite book | url=https://archive.org/details/historyofhancock00rich_0 | title=History of Hancock County, Indiana: Its People, Industries and Institutions | publisher=Wm.
