Meadowtownella is a rare genus of odontopleurid trilobite{{Cite web |url=http://paleobackup.nceas.ucsb.edu:8110/cgi-bin/bridge.pl?action=checkTaxonInfo&taxon_no=19815&is_real_user=0 |title=Meadowtownella |publisher=Paleobiology Database |accessdate=7 September 2009 }}{{dead link|date=January 2018 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }} found in Ordovician rocks. It is similar to Acidaspis cincinnatiensis{{cite web|url=https://strata.uga.edu/cincy/fauna/trilobita/Acidaspis.html |title=Acidaspis On UGA Stratigraphy Lab}} but without the occipital spine.

Some species have been found in Gilwern Hill in Wales, but tend only to be found in the lower portions of the Kope Formation in Ohio. They are also found in Trenton Group
