Megamelodes is a genus of mostly European planthoppers erected by W. J. Le Quesne in 1960.Le Quesne WJ (1960) Some modifications in the British list of Delphacidae (Hem.), including a new genus and a new species. The Entomologist. An illustrated Journal of Entomology.
