Career
Signal began weightlifting in 2013 at the FS Olympic Weightlifting Club in Auckland, New Zealand,{{cite web|url=https://olympics.com/tokyo-2020/olympic-games/en/results/weightlifting/athlete-profile-n1465029-signal-megan-ann.htm#events|title=2020 Olympic Profile|website=NBC|language=|date=|accessdate=24 July 2021}} which she attributed to her CrossFit interest.
