Melvin Morgan (born March 31, 1953) is an American former professional football defensive back in the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football for Mississippi Valley State University, Morgan was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 11th round of the 1976 NFL draft.[https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/MorgMe20.htm Profile at Pro-football-reference.com] He would play for the Bengals from 1976 to 1978, and the San Francisco 49ers from 1979 to 1980.
