Mengga ({{zh|s=勐戛镇|p=Měnggā Zhèn}}; {{langx|tdd|ᥛᥫᥒᥰ ᥐᥣ}}) is a town in Mangshi, Yunnan, China. Etymology

In Dai language, "Mengga" means the most precious place.

Geography

The Xiaobailong Reservoir ({{zh|s=小白龙水库|l=Little White Dragon Reservoir|labels=no}}) is a reservoir and the largest body of water in the town.

The town is in the south subtropical monsoon climate zone, with an average annual temperature of {{convert|14|C}} and total annual rainfall of {{convert|1600|mm|adj=on}}.

Natural history

There are 23 species of national first-class and second-class protected animals in the town.

Transport

The County Road Mengxi Road passes across the town.
