Her school in Ljubljana taught the first Slovene dancers and teachers of modern dance, such as Marta Paulin, Živa Kraigher, and Marija Vogelnik, who then taught subsequent classes of contemporary dancers in Slovenia after World War II.Alenka Puhar et al (2007) [https://books.google.com/books?id=oFYdZ8JA5z4C&dq=%22Meta+Vidmar%22&pg=PA356 Pozabljena polovica (Forgotten half - 129 notable women from 19th in 20th century in Slovenia)], Slovene Academy of Arts and Sciences & Tuma Publishing, Ljubljana, {{ISBN|978-9616-6820-15}}[http://www.rtvslo.si/kultura/oder/slovo-plesalke-in-plesne-pedagoginje-zive-kraigher/258030 Slovo plesalke in plesne pedagoginje Žive Kraigher] - Živa Kraigher, ena od pionirk slovenskega sodobnega plesa, article on RTV Slovenia website, 21 May 2011.
